Questions

Before you apply.

How does driver pay work?

Your driver share and Resa’s commission are explained before onboarding. You keep 100% of any tips. Any relevant journey charges are explained with the booking.

Is there a deposit?

Yes. We take a refundable £100 security deposit at onboarding. It’s held as collateral rather than a fee, and it’s returned in full when you leave, as long as you don’t owe anything for outstanding journeys or costs.

Do I need my own vehicle?

Yes. We’re currently only considering drivers with their own suitable, TfL-licensed private-hire vehicle.

Which vehicles do you accept?

We generally consider comfortable saloons and estates, medium and larger SUVs, MPVs and people carriers, including suitable electric vehicles. Each vehicle is reviewed individually for comfort, condition and luggage space.

How much availability are you looking for?

We can work with different patterns, but we’re prioritising drivers who can offer regular, dependable availability rather than occasional ad hoc cover.

Can I accept or decline journeys?

Yes. You’ll see the key journey details before deciding whether to accept. We don’t expect you to take every journey, but we are looking for drivers who can offer regular availability and take suitable work consistently.

What happens after I apply?

We review every application manually. If your experience, vehicle and availability match what we’re currently looking for, we’ll contact you for a conversation. Drivers we decide to progress will then receive a private onboarding link.
